We are using a new timer this year that uses the latest technology available. Because of this, we will be handing out the timing chips RACE MORNING just before you enter the pool for your swim. Our timer has done this in many races and said it works beautifully and helps with the lost/forgotten chips on race day. If you were to lose your timing chip, it would cost you about $100 to replace.
The duathlon starts at 8:00 out by the transition area so you will be able to get your timing chips 20 minutes before we start the duathlon out by the transition area only, not in the pool area.
The transition area will open at 5:30a.m. on race day.
All bikes need to be racked 45 minutes prior to swim time. Please be courteous to other racers. We will make every attempt to keep the transition area clear; only participants will be allowed in the transition area. This is to your benefit, to prevent injury and theft. Please help us in this endeavor by keeping your supporters out of the area. Helmets must be strapped onto your head prior to exiting and upon re-entering the transition area.
The Fall Frenzy is benefiting the Kiwanis Club of Aurora. Last year, the following organizations were the beneficiaries of funds: Parker Police Explorers, Elizabeth High School Art Club, Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute Endowment Fund and Praying Hands Ranch.
This year the funds will help support Key Clubs at Regis Jesuit, Smoky Hill, Grandview, Cherry Creek, and Eaglecrest High Schools. (Key Clubs provide leadership training for high school students via community service). The Parker Police Explorers (cadets) and the Mickaela Foundation via the Mile High Harley Chapter of Aurora (provides funds to pay for uninsured breast cancer patients’ treatments in Colorado) will also receive funds.
Online registration is now open here. For more registration information, click here.
Team entries must be teams of either 2 or 3 people. EACH team member will need to sign the waivers and pay the USAT insurance fee. For questions regarding this please go to www.usatriathlon.org.
All participating athletes will receive a black, full zip fleece vest. (Shown to right.)
The meetings are not mandatory, but highly recommended. We cover the details of the race; any last minute changes and the referees will be there to remind you of the USAT rules. These meetings will be held at 11:30am & 1:30pm on Saturday, Sept. 6th at packet pick-up (Treads).
All USAT rules apply. Please go to www.usatriathlon.org for more information.
Seeding Participants will be seeded based on their estimated swim times (triathlon only), NO EXCEPTIONS.
Athletes will be seeded based on their swim times. It is important that each athlete register an accurate swim time on their application. Changes to swim times will be accepted until August 4th, 2008. Please see race course page for more information on the swim and where to submit swim-time changes.
Bagels and fruit will be provided in the morning and our new sponsor Qdoba will be providing burritos this year in the afternoon.
We need many volunteers to make this a fun, safe race. There are many different areas we need help with, some indoors, most however are outside. You will receive a Fall Frenzy Volunteer t-shirt and breakfast and/or lunch. If you or any of your friends would like to volunteer, please email nroderick@mho.com.

For all other questions, please do NOT call the recreation center. Many people were given incorrect information last year because they did not contact the Fall Frenzy staff. Please send inquiries to info@fallfrenzy.com to get the latest, accurate information! We update our website frequently as we get closer to the race date and list any last minute changes.
Parking will be limited so please carpool if you can. The main entrance to the recreation center will be open at all times. The west entrance that runs behind King Soopers will be closed, given the bike route.
